It was made for my language exchange partner-Barbie and her lovely daughter-Tenzin.
It's also my last project in Basic Design class in CCSF.
This is not only a language tool book for child who wants to learn Mandarin,
but let children know the moral and manner by interesting story.
The story was an original creation, and was inspired by nursery rhyme.
In this case, the rhyme is "Elephant song":
大象大象 你的鼻子怎麼那麼長 媽媽說鼻子長 才是漂亮.
Though it seems a simple and plain child song,
but it was inspired me to make a story about "love what you are",
which means to cherish what you have and anyone has their unique part from others.
In the beginning, I had to finish my project from basic design class,
the project was making a book!
The first idea came to my mind was to make a book for Tenzin,
and make one to let me memorize the amazing experience they gave me.
Making a book was a fantastic experience, especially make for someone!
